This qualification aims to provide candidates with the skills and knowledge to use veterinary medicines safely, responsibly and in accordance with current legislation and consistent with the species specific RUMA guidelines.
The qualification will be endorsed with the animal group that the candidate is trained and assessed in.
The aim of this course is to either prepare you for your City & Guilds NPTC Assessment or receive a certificate of attendance.
The qualification will be assessed by oral questions and practical administration of veterinary medicines and can be taken at your own workplace using your own equipment and choice of animals. When you are successful, City & Guilds will issue your certificate and ID card.
